I've been finishing off some Arabic songs I've been writing and working on for a while now, for an album I'll hopefully be releasing soon called 'Mamnou3 El Intizar'. I commissioned Jtumburus (https://www.deviantart.com/jtumburus) to draw/paint the cover for me based on an idea I had, and he's done absolutely wonderful work with it. We ended up with two pretty cool versions of the same concept, you can see those at : http://jtumburus.deviantart.com/art/Mamnou3-El-Intizar-Alternative-96611921 and http://jtumburus.deviantart.com/art/Mamnou3-El-Intizar-Album-Cover-96041271 I really love the work he's done on these, and am mostly leaning towards using the 2nd one as a cover,

Anti-War.us is seeking contributions from graphic designers towards it's anti-war effort - all graphics will be distibuted freely to activists worldwide. Contribution instructions are available on their website. They're accepting various formats, already have some powerful graphics on their site, well worth seeing. Many of them have so far been supplied by the Benneton sponsored Fabrica arts workshop, which might be familiar to deviantART users. If you're at all interested in saving some lives, try to check it out. It might be worth your time.

"Spiritus Mundi is a pack of 78 "not quite Tarot cards" produced by designers and artists from all over the world who gave their time freely for this collaboration. The project was mentioned in a previous devious news post, but there's no quick way of knowing how many deviantART members have participated. My own submission can be found here. "Each participant was asked to take at least one word and interpret it in the context of the year from September 2001. The invitation that we sent out was made as open and inclusive as possible with the aim of getting cards from a wide range of people spanning a spectrum of viewpoints." - from the Spiri

Or you could just tell me... :)
Damn it, I saw again your wallpaper in my favourites today and paid another visit, and only now noticed the Philip Dick references !!!

Greetings from a half-lifer in this particular land of absurdity.

May you never run out of ubik ! Keep some to shove it down their throats when the time comes. :B

:#1:
im sorry, i read it later
It's okay. Thanks for reading it.
Dude, you've got some magnificent artwork in your gallery. I really envy you political artists, you've got some big balls to take the abuse and flak that you do in order to produce the works that we get to see.

Great photos, keep up the fantastic work. Don't let The Man, or any of his cronies, get you down. :B
Thanks a lot :)

Well, the abuse is a little easier to take when you're sure of what you're saying and when you realize that before knowing, you might've been just as ignorant :)
I bet, and considering the abundance of ignorance one has to put up with these days, it's a wonder if you ask me. Pride prevents people from admiting they're wrong. >.>;
